Accessing your personal information
You may be able to view or edit your personal information online. To help prevent your personal information from being viewed by others, you will be required to sign in with your username and password.
You can stop the delivery of future promotional e-mails from Aquafilter by following the specific instructions in the e-mail you receive.
You may also have the option of proactively making choices about the communications you receive from Aquafilter, by visiting and signing into www.aquafilter.com.au
These communication choices do not apply to mandatory communications that are considered part of Warranty of Aquafilter products.
Security of your personal information
Aquafilter uses advanced security technologies and procedures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access. Your details are stored on computer systems with limited access in controlled facilities. Credit card numbers are not stored however are protected with Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption when transferred over the internet.
Your password helps protect your accounts and personal information, and therefore it is your responsibility to keep your password confidential. Do not share it with anyone, and make sure you log out before leaving the Site.
Delivery only by Australia Post or Freight Forwarder
Deliveries are not able to be made to Post Office Boxes and a signature is required as proof of delivery for all purchases.
Warranty and Use of Goods or Services
Aquafilter warrants that the Goods will be supplied using reasonable care. Aquafilter warrants that for a period of one (1) year from the date of delivery, the base unit and bowls will be free of defects in material and workmanship. This is a 'back to depot' warranty and the return of any item to Aquafilter is at the buyers expense. Filters are a consumable item and are covered by a 12 month warranty for defects in material and workmanship but are recommended to be replaced every 4 months to ensure consistency in end product quality and maintain base unit warranty. In Australia, our goods come with guarantees than cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement for a major failure. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Aquafilter will, depending on the circumstances, repair or replace this product or any component of the product found to be defective during the warranty period. Replacement will be made with a new or re-manufactured product or component. If the product is limited in stock or no longer available, replacement may be made with a similar product of equal or greater value. At our discretion, we may replace the product with a similar product from another supplier. Please keep your proof of purchase documentation as it is required to obtain a warranty claim. Warranty is back to depot (Sydney) and freight costs are the responsibility of the customer. If upon return, the unit is found to not be faulty a service fee of up to $120 plus GST will be charged and the cost of returning the unit to the customer will be paid by the customer. This warranty does not cover: a) normal wear and tear of the product and or its parts, b) parts that are non-genuine, consumable, lost parts and accessories, c) damage resulting from any of the following: negligent use or misuse of the product, commercial use of the product, use contrary to the operating instructions; disassembly, repair or alteration by any unauthorised person, d) acts of God, such as fire, flood or other weather incidents.
Limitation of Liability
Aquafilter shall not be liable for any claim arising out of the performance, non-performance, delay in delivery of or defect in the Goods nor for any special, indirect, economic or consequential loss or damage howsoever arising or howsoever caused (including loss of profit or loss of revenue) whether from negligence or otherwise in connection with the supply, functioning or use of the Goods. The Client shall fully indemnify Aquafilter against any liability to third parties arising out of the Client's use of the Goods.
Warranty Exclusions and Limitations
The Australian Consumer Law provides consumers with certain consumer guarantees. These guarantees apply where goods and services Aquafilter supplies to you are of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic or household use or cost less than $40,000 and in the case of goods are not re-supplied by you. Nothing in this limited warranty excludes, restricts or modifies rights which you have under the Australian consumer law in respect of the consumer guarantees and all of the provisions in this section are to be read subject to the Australian Consumer Law
